Yes, you guessed it ! The 3rd episode of “Les Beaux Rebelles” is in English ! I met Stella in Ghana when I travelled there last year, and she left a very strong impression on me.
She is driven, determined, and fascinated by science. She doesn’t let anything or anyone stop her from achieving her goals and dreams, and I admire that.
Most of all, she is the very first female to graduate from her University program in Russia, she is also the only female in her team at The Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC), where she works in close contact with the United Nations.
You may have guessed we are talking quite a bit about the specificity of being a woman in this environment. It was very interesting for me and I hope it will be for you as well.
Yes, it’s the both of us in Adomfe, Ghana. When you listen to the podcast, you will understand that this is not how Stella usually dresses, as she says she likes to “dress like a man” at work. But I will let you discover this bit on your own ! We were dressed for a special and personal occasion.

This interview was recorded online, when she was back in Accra, and I in Berlin.
In the first few minutes you will hear some background noise and may have some difficulty to understand what Stella is saying. Please bear with us for the 2 minutes where this is happening, as the rest of the interview was undisturbed and recorded in fairly good conditions.
